Lamb numbers decreased to 17,631 yarded, the quality was plain to excellent with all weight on office and a large portion of the yarding coming off feed. All the usual buying group attended and in a strong market with plenty of competition for the light lambs back to the paddock selling to 1,000c/kg cwt with the market up $5 to $20/head in places. Heavy lambs sold to $301/head.
Light weight 1 and 2 score lambs, 12 to 18kg, sold from $115 to $173/head to average 933c/kg cwt. Trade lambs, 18 to 22kg, sold from $167to $210/head to average around 890c/kg cwt. Lambs, 22 to 24kg, sold from $195 to $228/head, making from 842c to 950c to average around890c/kg cwt. 4 score lambs, 24 to 26kg sold from $212 to $236/head to average around 890c/kg cwt. Heavy 26 to 30kg lambs, sold from$229 to $260/head to average 860c and over 30kg lambs sold from $257 to $301/head to average around 830c/kg cwt.

Sheep numbers increased with 14,100 yarded. The quality was average to very good with plenty of weight on offer across the yarding. All the usual buying group attended but not all operated fully in a strong market to see a $15 to $30/head jump in prices and more in places, with high demand from export processes.
Light weight 1 and 2 score sheep sold from $90 to $130/head to average 695c/kg cwt. Medium weight sheep sold from $125 to $172/head making from 568c to 737c, with Merino mutton averaging around 665c/kg cwt. Heavy sheep, 24 to 30kg, sold from $153 to $235/head and over 30kg sold from $212 to $290/head. Heavy Merino ewes averaged 670c and heavy crossbred ewes averaged 695c/kg cwt. Heavy Merino wethers sold from $177 to $270 and medium weights sold from $125 to $175/head to average 690c/kg cwt.
