Lamb numbers decreased to 17,309 yarded, the quality was plain to very good, with more shorn lambs offered this week than unshorn. All the usual buying group attended and operated in a strong market with extra competition from interstate processors saw lambs spiking to 900c/kg cwt in places. Over all the market was up $7 to $20/head and more in places.
Light weight 2 score lambs, 12 to 18kg sold from $93 to $159/head to average 840c/kg cwt. 2 and 3 score trade lambs, 18 to 22kg, sold from$152 to $185/head to average around 790c/kg cwt. 3 score lambs, 22 to 24kg sold from $172 to $201/head, making from 767c to 874c,averaging around 780c/kg cwt. 4 score lambs, 24 to 26kg, sold from $195 to $207/head to average around 770c/kg cwt. Heavy 26 to 30kglambs, sold from $204 to $226/head to average 770c and over 30kg lambs sold from $228 to $242/head to average around 735c/kg cwt.Unshorn lambs sold to $224/head. Crossbred hoggets sold to $194 and Merino's to $124/head.

All the usual buying group attended and operated in a mixed market with heavy sheep up $10 to $20 in places and the light sheep were back $5 to $10/head. Light weight 1 and 2 score sheep sold from $105 to $128/head to average 570c/kg cwt. Medium weight sheep sold from $102 to $170/head, making from 508c to 647c, with Merino mutton averaging around 600c/kg cwt. Heavy Merino ewes sold from $150 to $202 and heavy crossbred ewes sold from $135 to $246/head.
