Check out the latest Hay Report here, hot of the keyboard.
It's been a full-on couple of weeks for sales led by Urea. But, according to our in-house Fertiliser expert Ellen, supply might have dried up for a while. However, she is not sitting idle and is on the hunt for more. There is also a waiting list being developed. Keep an eye on the Fertiliser update in Thursday's "daily."
The Machinery and Equipment market is hot also. It's been in pretty good shape for a while now, pretty much since the drought broke in March 2020. But right at this point, it's probably as strong as ever. Our sales guys live and breath this stuff. See some of their comments below.
Our Auction sales are also increasing, as people get used to the one-day sales at the same time every week.
Interesting to note that our listings, as far as dollar value goes, was up 84 percent for July 2022 ($35 million) compared to July 2021 ($19 million). We think August will be stronger again.
We now cater for Livestock Agents. Any registered Livestock Agent can list Livestock for free and only pay $1/head for Sheep/Goats and $7/head for Cattle if they sell. If your Agent has some of your Livestock to sell then, please let them know to consider Farm Tender as a selling option.
The overall trends for the last 7 days were Urea (again), Tipper Trailer (low supply), Pick-Up Fronts, Prime Movers, Vetch Hay, GPS Equipment, Tractors, Oaten Hay, Fuel Tanks & Trailers, Tow Behind Windrowers, Sheep Handlers & Equipment, Mobile Air Compressors, Air Seeders and Chaser Bins (low supply).
Don't forget two things:
1) By listing or buying something to the value of $20,000 or more, you can go into the draw to win a new Toyota Hilux.
2) Our "NPS" end-to-end payment process provides "insurance and reassurance" for both buyer and seller. Contact any of our staff to find out more. Don't leave anything to chance with payments.
It was another quiet week for Grain sales.

This is what the sales guys said happened this week:
Shane said - A solid week on the Machinery sales with Tractors and Trucks being very popular. We have had several items which are not lasting any longer than 12- 24 hours post listing.
With the rain over the weekend and the countryside looking very promising (not so much for those that have had too much), it will be interesting to see when we get closer to Harvest what the demand will be like as it's definitely raised considerably over the past week.
Paul said - It seems Trailers are fairly hot with a set of Double Stags going in less than 24 hours with around 14 people on them. We are also getting a good response to Airseeders and Bars, along with anything to do with Harvest. Trucks also seem to be fairly well sought after.
We are seeing more and more quality listings coming through the site, which is great. If you are after something specific and don't want to miss out, you should look at setting up a notification on your app that will alert you when a new listing is placed in your desired sub-category.
Mike said - Tractors are still very popular especially low-hour Machines, with some good sales happening between the price range of $40k to $140k. There is interest in linkage Spreaders with load cells with a couple of good sales last week. Earthmoving gear, especially Laser Buckets and Scrapers, are popular in Queensland and Northern New South Wales for repairing flood damage as things start to dry out.
As the Hay and Harvest season approaches, any Gear associated with those two industries will become popular.

Keep those listings coming and see what else sold here.
End of message.
