It's been another up and down week. Like I said last week, one day is above and average for sales and the next one below. That's the pattern.

It's great to see the Croppers getting a good run at the Harvest. It's going to be a Harvest for the ages for many and one they can put up as the benchmark to beat for the seasons ahead.

We are starting to see some post Harvest items come on the market, things like Field Bins, Chaser Bins, Augers, Mother Bins and Headers. Farmers are looking at what sort of gear suits their program and what sort of stuff they can afford to move on.

It's up and down, but some good sales are still being made in the Machinery and Equipment category. The trends for the last week include Airseeders, Combines, Drills, Augers, Tipper Trailer (still hard to find), Stockcrates, Header Fronts, Sprayers and Track Tractors.

Shane sold this 2011 John Deere 9530T Track Tractor for $9k below the listed price.

Check out the FTLE report on Livestock with Jack below.

On the Grain front, we sold Feed Oats for $210 and $215 a tonne, Feed Barley for $275 a tonne, Lupins for $405 and Rasina Vetch Seed for $650 a tonne. All prices are Ex Farm.

This is what the sales guys said happened this week:

Shane said - Still seeing last-minute purchases for those still Harvesting in the North and South and starting to notice a few looking at Cropping Gear with Air Seeders, etc, being nibbled at. Wishing everybody a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. We look forward to a big year again in 2022..

Paul said - This past week has seen more of the same with Harvest related gear still "hot property", although we are starting to see some of the focus begin to shift towards the next phase as some are all done and dusted. Cropping Gear and Boomspray's are starting to gain more momentum, and if the supply of new gear of late is anything to go by, it could be a wise move. All the best to you and your families over the festive season. Stay safe and enjoy!

Mike said - Mike was on leave at the time of commenting but wanted to wish everyone a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year.
