There's just something about it... - We wrote the other day about the Farmer's dilemma - to work or not to work. We had quite a few responses to this one because it hit a nerve.

We put these "Daily" stories on our social media pages 2 days after we send them to you, and with the story above, we had a guy who owns and runs a Surveying business say it's not only Farmers that are welded to the job. I agree. Others work hard too and struggle with guilt when they are not working. In a response comment to the Surveyor, a lady pointed out that most Farmers live at their workplace, whereas old mate Surveyor can head home every night.

This is a very good point, and it got me thinking, what are the advantages and disadvantages of living on the Farm? I do know of some people that live in town and commute to the Farm every day, and many of those that do, are doing it to keep that separation from work. And sometimes you have to make some big decisions (like moving) to restructure the routine that is making your life a bit of a chore.

It's just so darn easy to go out and fix something at 8 at night or just step out on a Saturday morning, and before you know it it's 3 pm. But I know most of us wouldn't swap living on the Farm for quids. There's just something about it....
