The return of the Tray Truck - Remember the Silos at Harvest time when there were long lines of 8 to 12 tonne Tray Trucks (post bags) getting ready to unload Wheat. Or at the Sheep or Cattle Saleyards when Farmers Trucked their own Stock in.

It was very social whilst waiting in line. Farmers would connect, talk and not be too worried that the Header driver was waiting with a full box. Some even did the strip and cart thing. It's a bit different these days, where the name of the game is to get back to the paddock as quickly as possible.

Farmers then got more efficient and graduated to Tippers and B Doubles as the Headers got bigger.

But we'll have you know that the Tray Truck is back. It's been a trend since about mid-2022 when sales increased dramatically. And it wasn't just the trusty Acco. Although these old Tray Trucks mightn't hold the main gig anymore, they are bloody handy and serve a wide range of purposes. Hence the reason why Farmers are buying them again.
