Take 2 or even better 3 - As Farmer's, we are living and breathing the caper. So much so that I think it would occupy many Farmer's minds pretty much all of the time. 

Farmers also put in physically, maybe not as much as a Farmer in the 1960s say, but it still requires a physical presence. But it's more the mental side of things that is the challenge.

Paula and I have managed to get away for a couple of weeks R & R. It's the Farmer coming out in me, as the first week wasn't very relaxing. I was still sorta thinking about the "job" a bit. This week (2nd week) has been much better, I have managed to switch off mentally, and it's noticeable. I already feel refreshed and ready again. I needed to let myself do it though. Make sure you give yourself permission. 

The concerning thing is that Farmer's who struggle to get their head out of the game might be missing out. To go forward, sometimes you need to clear your head, so when it's time to resume, your mind should be able to make sharper decisions. The game is complex and laborious, we need to find ways to make or keep it fun and exciting. So next time you take a week off, make sure you take two, or even three would be better....See how you go.
