Staying curious - I read that some of the smartest minds in business are the ones that never ever think they know everything and are always exploring better ways to do things. They stay curious all the time.
We can learn new things from anywhere. It could be something you have seen, read or heard from outside the Ag space that might be the catalyst to improving the way you do things on the Farm. Also, by staying curious, you are in a better position to unlearn things. It's probably just as important to unlearn some things as it is to learn something. You know, this is the way dad used to do it......
Staying curious lets you explore things outside your limiting view. A limiting view might be an opinion you have on something that is unfounded or can be challenged. Sometimes we don't want to hear about an alternative because it might mean change.
The curiosity thing probably relates to one of last week's "daily" stories about getting off the Farm to discover and learn new things. Things can become a bit monotonous if we get stuck on the Farm every day.
