Farmers buying Pubs - We are seeing more and more Farmers investing (off Farm) in community businesses like Pubs. This is reinvigorating many Farming communities and towns and is helping to turn these places around from what might be continual decline.

We wrote about it back in August in our "weekly" newsletter. Take a read here.

Often it is a group of community people banding together to breathe life into something like a Pub, Cafe or Fuel Station. Some of the time, it's an individual Farming Family doing it. 

Whatever the case, if anyone is investing in the community to make it better, make sure you support and barrack for them. We can't rest for a minute as we need to continually work on keeping these communities viable and a place where people want to live. Some communities that have struggled to adapt are now shadows of their former selves, and many are past the point of return.
