Fordson Major Diesel 1956 in working order for sale.

Condition: Used

Make: Fordson

Model: Major

This original 1956 model was a 99% completed project. The engine has had: - Starter motor rebuilt, valves reseated, new valve stem seals, head gasket, injectors cleaned, new fuel and oil filters, radiator cleaned and flushed.

I was building this old beast for a dedicated slashing tractor for my property near Deniliquin, NSW. However, I then purchased the neighbour's property which conveniently came with a good Duetz 5206 tractor with a slasher, so the project came to a halt a few years back. Now I am too busy to finish it off and I need it out of my shed. So instead of transporting it up to my NSW property for a spare, I have reluctantly decided to sell it instead.

The engine runs and the brakes are excellent. I have not changed or topped up the hydraulic or gearbox oils or driven it as yet. Also I have not checked the linkage operation as the oil is low (the bloke I purchased it from said they worked spot on though). The wiring needs tidying up as it has only been temporary wired up to get it running.

Comes with the roll bar, check photos. Obviously it has a few rust holes etc but metal work is generally solid with just surface rust. Priced reduced for quick sale.
