Winyar average $3086 for 88 Rams sold

It's a great effort when a sheep stud averages over the $3000 mark and that exactly what Allan & Susan Dawson's Winyar Merino Stud did yesterday at their annual on-property sale at Canowindra, NSW

88 lots were entered and the bidding must have been fever pitched as all Rams were cleared to an average of $3086.

The top priced Ram went to $8250 which wasn't extreme and means the sale was extra solid right throughout.

The sale grossed $271,568
