It is with inordinate sadness that we announce the passing of Mr Brian Unthank, one of the most iconic Auctioneers, and Stock & Property agents to have ever honoured the profession.
Brian had just recently celebrated his 85th birthday with his family and from an ALPA perspective we want to pay tribute to a person who touched the lives of members for so many years and in so many ways and whose contribution as a member throughout the years was invaluable.
The Unthank name will always be revered and continues this day with Susan, Gerard and Michael and the next generations Tom and Bart working in the same business on both sides of the Murray.
As a mark of respect we would ask the agent fraternity who knew Brian to join us at ALPA to pause for a moment today to reflect upon the life of this immensely gifted agent and fabulous family man. ALPA should like to extend our most sincere condolences to the Unthank family in particular his children, Catherine, Lisa, Susan, Gerard and Michael and their respective families.
