SA Sheep Farmers given 24 hours to decide

SA Sheep Farmers Bill and Paul Stacey (Pictured) were given 24 hours to decide if they wanted the new Tesla 100 megawatt battery on their Jamestown Property.

French company Neoen which owns the Hornsdale Wind Farm which is located on the Stacey's Farm rang them and asked them to make a decision within 24 hours.

Bill Stacey said he didn't want to get in the way of progress of the renewable energy push so they agreed to house the massive battery.

The Tesla, Noeon, SA State Government deal is an important one for SA for attracting future investment to the state. They had power issues last Summer which affected alot of businesses. It also gave SA a black mark as far as future investment coming to the state is concerned.

I am sure the Stacey's were well compensated for their kind gesture and so they should be. Good on them
