Merino and Dorper - Bendigo Ram Sale result

Merino -
107 lots were put up at the Australian Sheep and Wool Show Merino Ram Sale at Bendigo on Sunday with spirited bidding by a large crowd on offer.
Money was flowing at the high end with the top price of $32,000 actually being realised 3 times. Of the 107 lots offered, 89 found news homes at an average of $5,556.
Equal sale topper was lot 3 from the NSW stud Langdene which sold to Ian Greenwood from Yass, NSW. Lot 39 (pictured) also making the $32k top was a Merryville ram bought by Victorian stud Rock-Bank. The other sale topper (lot 109) was an East Mundalla (WA) rams which was bought by NSW stud Borambil.
Dorpers -
The Dorper offering featured both ewes and rams with the 44 rams selling to $8500 to an average of $2047. The 14 ewes offered all sold to a $3700 top and a $1400 average
