Haddon Rig Merinos to $9000

The famous Haddon Rig Merino Stud, Warren, NSW held it annual on-property Ram sale yesterday. Conditions in the area are trying with the season closing off early. However that did not worry the punters as bidding hit fever pitch for both the horn and poll Rams.

145 of the 160 horn rams sold to a top of $9000 with a very strong average of $2638.

48 of the 60 poll Rams sold to a top of $5500 and an average of $2138.

The sale grossed $485,134 for the Falkiner family
