Farm power bills set to double, triple......

Intensive Farmers, Irrigators and any large power consumers will be reevaluating budgets as power costs are set to double and in some cases triple. One intensive farmer expects to pay $90k this year, up from just over $40k last year.

An Irrigator was flabergasted when Origin Energy offered to renew his contract at three time what he currently pays.
