Charinga, Banavie and Gowandale Merino & Poll Merino Studs, Marnoo & St Arnaud, Vic held their respective Ram Sales yesterday and overall it was a cracker
Charinga first, they managed to sell lot 1 for $42,000 which set the tone for the day, this Poll Ram sold to Banyandah Pastoral Co.
They sold 90 of the Rams on offer to an amazing average of $4827
Banavie put up 80 Rams and sold the lot to a top of $20,000. The average was a very impressive $3,841
Gowandale sold all 9 Ram on offer to average $4,888.
The total gross for the Sale was $811,200 which included 52 White Suffolk Rams that sold to an average of $1037
