Armidale startup SmartShepherd acclaimed on global stage

Armidale-based AgTech startup SmartShepherd takes out their category at the 2018 Agfunder Innovation Awards in San Francisco.

Armidale-based startup SmartShepherd has been recognised at the 2018 Agfunder Innovation Awards on Tuesday, taking out the Most Innovative International Startup Pre-Series A award in the Farm Tech category. The awards night formed part of the World Agri-Tech Innovation Summit in San Francisco.

Also recognised on the night were Sydney-based startups AgriDigital and The Yield, who took home awards in the Supply Chain category.

Nominations for the awards were determined by a committee of global agrifood tech investors, with the winners voted on by Agritech's community. In total 5,000 votes were cast.
