Who gets excited about a new Fence?

An extract from the "Daily" Newsletter.

From my time working on the Farm many moons ago, I always loved putting up new Fences. Pulling them down, not so much, but the satisfaction of seeing a brand-spanking new one releases some those feel-good endorphins. At least, it does for me...

What about you?

We just recently completed (well, the Contract Fencer Jim O'Rourke from JP Fencing did) what we are calling a New Zealand-style Fence. It has Pine Posts every 6 metres and 5 Timber Droppers in between. The Droppers near the crossing are only 30 centimetres apart, and all 7 lines of 2.5mm Waratah Plain Wire have been drilled through the centre of both the Post and Dropper. See some images of it here.

This one is probably not a practical one as it took 5 times longer than the Ringlock and Steel Post ones we did back in the old days. But a job well done to Jim the Contractor. We're pretty wrapped.
