We may have underestimated the amount of Hay being made this season. See the latest Hay Report here, hot off the keyboard today.

Flock Rams and Commercial Bull have become a bit of a trend lately, with studs looking to sell any surplus breeders they have on their books.

Already we are starting to see some Harvest "quick fix" purchases where something might have broken and needs replacement asap. Just today, we sold a few Chaser Bins and a Track Tractor because the Farmer's needed them right away.

So if you have Harvest items to sell, now is a good time to list. Also, if you have items already listed, ask one of the guys to refresh it back to the top.

Don't forget that we are only a bit over a fortnight out from drawing our Toyota Hilux to one lucky member. See here how to enter.

We probably had our quietest week in a long time last week. Understandably so, any Farmer with Crop would be fully focussed on the job at hand.

The overall trends for the week just gone include Chaser Bins, Windrowers, Tyres, Draper Fronts, Vetch Hay, Pick Up Fronts, Rams, Cattle Handling Gear, Silage, Augers, Bulls, and Field Bins.

It was a light week for Grain sales.

This is what the sales guys said happened this week:

Shane said - Windrowers and Fronts are still selling well, along with Chaser Bins and Augers. Also sold a Header last week and have a few still on the go. Grain Bag Inloaders and Outloaders are super popular but hard to get atm either brand new or second-hand. Heard some horror stories last week of the storm that ripped through the Ouyen area and then down into the Wimmera and beyond with lots of Crops and $$ lost in the event. Hoping for all that will be the last..

Paul said - We have seen a slight drop off in people answering their phones as most are busy on Windrowers, Headers, Balers or Boomsprays. We are still moving quite a lot Harvest related Machinery, but people who aren't in an immediate need of something are shelving plans until Harvest is complete. Hearing some good Canola yield reports so far, although much of it is downgraded due to Light weights and Mould.

Mike said - It's all about Harvest, Grain Storage, Cartage, Chaser Bins and, to a lesser degree, Headers.

Livestock Handling Equipment is always popular, and if it's priced right, it will sell. I'm hearing across the board that yields are better than expected so far with those that have started Harvest, although the quality may not be there.

Keep those listings coming and see what else sold here.
