She's tough going with the Hay job, but everyone's interested in what might happen. See the latest Hay Report here, hot off the keyboard.
It's been hard to watch all the videos of the flooded Paddocks, Rivers, Creeks and Gullys this week. Did you see the video of Wyangala Dam spilling over? Then there are the photos of bogged Windrowers and other pieces of Equipment. It's a testing time out there.
We can hear the frustration in Farmer's voices now after this last rain event. Some feel the season is getting away from them a bit now.
As for sales, there is still stuff shifting, last week was slightly quieter, but things have picked up this week.
We only have a month to go on the Toyota Hilux giveaway campaign. As of today, we have 1533 in the draw. To enter, click here.
The overall trends for the week just gone include Draper Fronts, Chaser Bins, Pick Up Front, Grain Bag Inloaders, Farm Trucks, Super Conditioners, Lucerne Hay, Tipper Trailers, Silage, Tractors, Groupers, Straw, Augers, Sheep Handling Gear and Flock Rams.
As far as Grain sales were concerned, we sold some Field Peas for $400 and $500 a tonne, Soybeans for $700 a tonne, Feed Oats for $200 a tonne and Feed Wheat for $400 a tonne. All prices are Ex Farm.

This is what the sales guys said happened this week:
Shane said - Another solid week of sales with Augers and Chaser Bins again being sort after. With all the floods going on, we are seeing Water Pumps being listed and sold, and Grain Bag Inloaders are becoming harder to source and have buyers lining up for them.
Paul said - This past week has seen the Hay Job kick with the prospects of another weak Hay season looming. Buyers are trying to secure supplies now. Harvest Gear is still very popular, with a Chaser Bin lasting under 8 hours on the site this week. Fronts are also remaining on top of a lot of wishlists. Wishing everyone some dry weather moving forward.
Mike said - The focus for the majority of Farmers in the Southern areas is rain and how to deal with it. Chaser Bins, Field Bins and anything to do with Grain Storage is sought-after. Some good sales of Augers as well last week. Livestock Handling Gear is still selling well.
