Gee, there has been some interest in Airseeders and Seeding gear in general in the last couple of weeks. We have seen a little bit of this go on in seasons gone by but what we are seeing this year is a much bigger trend. Farmers who have used their current Seeding gear to plant the 2022 Winter Crop are now listing it up with the view to upgrading or stepping into a new one. The ones buying are looking at doing the same, except they want to secure something before releasing their current Seeder.
Speaking of trends, for the last 7 days, they have been Air Seeders (mainly Gason ones), Headers, Angus Cows (either with a calf or PTIC), Tractor Tyres, GPS Equipment, Oaten Hay, Urea, Feed Mixers, Header Fronts and Sprayers.
We had a good run selling several lines of Angus Cows, some lines with a Calf at foot, and some PTIC. They made good money.
We also managed to put a 2400 acres lease together of some very good South West Vic Farming Land.
On the Grain front, there was a bit of Feed Barley shifted at $400 a tonne and Feed Oats at $250 a tonne.
All prices are ex Farm.

This is what the sales guys said happened this week:
Shane said - Starting to see more of what's required in the next phase with Boomsprays, Grain Inloader's and Augers starting to move with the likelihood of a big Harvest.
I also sold a 2014 Gason Air Seeder that was only on our site for less than a day as the buyer was worried if he didn't snap it up, he would miss out as the good ones don't last long.
Paul said - With plenty of us feeling cold and wet, things are still shifting well. There has been plenty of quality Machinery still changing hands with the second-hand market seeming to be holding up pretty well, all things considered. We have also seen a lift in Livestock enquiries with both Cattle and Sheep being nibbled at fairly regularly. Hay sales and enquiries are also solid.
Mike said - There has been good inquiry on Machinery, especially Tractors and Tillage Gear. Livestock Handling and Feeding Equipment is always popular if priced correctly. I attended FarmFest last week, it was great to see plenty of Farmers out and about, where over 60,000 visited the Ag show near Toowoomba in Queensland.
For those interested in a catch-up, I will be travelling North along the coast towards Townsville and Cairns over the coming weeks if anyone would like to chat. Talking to many farmers over the last week, some are still Planting, whilst others anticipate getting started again shortly.
There are plenty of areas in Northern New South Wales and Southern Queensland yet to harvest their Sorghum or Cotton, we hope they get it off shortly.

Keep those listings coming and see what else sold here.
End of message.
