Once again Hay dominated the spreadsheets this week. Check out last week's Hay report here.

Interestingly we just sold a $230k Header through a wanted ad. The Farmer was pretty specific in what he wanted, and it just so happened that there was one out there that fitted the bill. The wanted ad strike rate is getting better, and they are well worth doing to find those specific items.

For the record, wanted ads are free. The seller pays if something is sold.

We are also starting to see increased interest in Harvest and Hay Gear.

Another thing to keep in mind is that traditionally June has been a pretty good month to sell, as the buying activity increases, at least the stats from previous years are telling us that.

Also, don't forget, if you list or buy something over $10k in this current quarter, we have $5000 worth of Holiday vouchers to draw.

The overall trends for the week included Hay of all types, Multi Discs, Speed Tillers, Headers, Goats, Older Tractors, Spreaders, Used Tractor Tyres, Windrowers, Header Fronts, and Feed Mixers.

Grain and Seed sales were pretty quiet over the last 7 days. I will have more of an update next week.

We will make some slight commission price increases on July 1. See the article below for more info.

This is what the sales guys said happened this week:

Shane said - As the Sowing season is coming to an end, we are seeing more enquires on Harvest Gear, including Headers, Windrowers and Fronts. Also seeing a bit of Hay Gear is getting nibbled at with the likelihood of it being a better year for this sector after a couple of tough ones.

Paul said - We are seeing more rain around the traps with the cold weather well and truly here. Machinery is still running fairly hot with some really good listings going up each day. The one common theme is if it's something you want or need, don't wait as it will go pretty quick. Hay has also seen a spike of interest, with plenty filling the shed for the coming Winter.

Mike said - Mike is on leave this week.

Keep those listings coming and see what else sold here.

End of message.
