I did a trip from Victoria to Queensland last week. Read a bit of a rundown on conditions here in our latest fortnightly Hay Report.
The Hay job picked up last week, and for the first time since the drought broke back in February 2020 Hay dominated the sales spreadsheets. Each week since then, Machinery has been the dominant category.
As for overall trends, we had Hay or course, Boomsprays, Cows and Calves, Aussie White Ewes, Kelpie Working Dogs, Tractors, Spreaders and Lupins.
Ellen is on leave, so there is no PAC report this week.
On the Grain front, we sold Lupins at $450 and $485 a tonne, and Feed Oats for $250 a tonne, an increase in price as Feed Oats have been stuck at around $200 a tonne for ages.
There were some small lots of Seed sold.
All prices are Ex Farm.

This is what the sales guys said happened this week:
Shane said - I have a seen a rise in the Livestock sales, with Goats, Ewes, and Cattle and some Stud Stock starting to move due to the abundance of feed that's about. Wanted Agistment listings are also on the rise, which goes hand in hand in a year like we are having so far..
Paul said - Paul is away on leave this week.
Mike said - There has been plenty of inquiry on Machinery over the last week, mainly small to medium-sized gear. Livestock Feeders are always popular, with a couple of Direct Drill Combines being sold as well. Pick Up Fronts are in limited supply, and buyers are keen to source.

Keep those listings coming and see what else sold here.
End of message.
