Things are starting to get going with the Hay job. See last week's Hay Report here. We will have another one of our fortnightly reports out next week.

We are just starting to see a slight lift in our traffic numbers after a quiet month or so. Trending for Machinery and Equipment for the week just gone has been Tractors (again), GPS gear, used Silos, Tipper Trailers, and Sheep Handling gear.

Shane sold this 1999 Case IH 7240 Tractor with Burder 9070 FEL for $10k below the listing price. It was listed back in November 2020, so it took a while to sell.

I wrote above about the lead time for new Ag gear. It's real, and the demand is off the charts. A good season, top commodity prices, land values rising, equity levels increasing and confidence in the future is what's contributing to Farmers investing heavily back in their businesses. It's great to see.

We are excited about having Jack Henshaw come on board as our new in-house Farm Tender Livestock Exchange agent. Jack specialises in Cattle, can Auctioneer as good as anyone, and has a great interest in supply chains. He was telling me about how Brazil sold too many of their Female Cattle to China last year, and they now have a domestic shortage, which is pushing prices up worldwide. Jack will be available from next week on.

The Grain and Pasture seed is still very active. See what else sold here.
