Utes the driving force in Vehicle sale numbers for June

The total Vehicle sales numbers in Australia for the month of June was the highest ever recorded.

Utes were the driving force behind the numbers as the Toyota HiLux was the number 1 selling vehicle in June with 5461 units, followed by the Ford Ranger 5051, Mitsubishi Triton 2995, Holden Colorado 2400 and Nissan Navara 2268.

Toyota dominated the overall sales with 24,546 units more than double the next place getter Mazda on 12,501 units. Hyundai 12,251, Holden 9273 and Mitsubishi 9266 made up the top 5
