Urea, Urea, Urea….. Every year we seem to go through the same angst of securing enough supply to go around. With the delay of Boats, Growers holding off locking in their required quantity, uncertainty around which country the product will be imported from, and the fluctuations in price, the last few months have been a scramble to secure the product.

The current market price is between $1,110.00 - $1,130.00 per tonne + GST, but this price is for new stock arriving and not available until the 5th of September at the earliest. Last week it was the 22nd of August, with the status changing daily.

So what is available now and what is the price? Stock is currently available out of Geelong and Adelaide at $1,190.00 + GST per tonne. If you require it out of Newcastle or Brisbane, please advise, and we will do our best to source it as soon as possible.

As mentioned recently, we anticipate the same supply issues with MAP and DAP. We encourage you to get your required quantity sorted as soon as possible. We can currently lock it in out to the end of November.
