Thinking ahead… Way, way ahead.
With the current lead times on new Machinery and Equipment blowing out to six months or more, now is the time to plan what you require in the next 12 months (If you haven't already).
It was only a month ago that I added the lead times for certain items. Those times have blown out a little. Here are some examples:
Commander Ag Quip – 6 months
GE Silos – 8 months
Munro Engineering – 4 months (See what we have arriving in August below)
These lead times are not as long as some Machinery lead times of 18-24 months. Still, with the continued pressure of minimal staff (due to ongoing covid and flu) and parts and material delays, they continue to become longer and longer.
