- We spoke to Danny 12 months ago, and as we all know, a lot has changed in the last 12 months in the Rural Property game. What have been some of those changes have been?
- How would you describe the health of the market?
- We will ask about all the different classes of Rural Property buyers 1) Institutional Investors/Pension Funds, 2) Corporations, 3) Large scale/Corporate Families and 4) Locals/Farmers to see where each is at.
- The Canadian Pension Funds seem to be very active, and their appetite doesn't seem to be waning. Where are they at, and what can we expect from them?
- What's it like to sell a property for $320 million? Was it a hard deal to negotiate? Can I ask what sort of commission is on a deal like that?
- In 2023, was the shine taken off Grazing Land because of the downturn in Livestock prices?
- Because a bit of shine has come off the market, does EOI (Expression of Interest) work as well?
- Do you ever see any Vendor Finance deals, or is there too much money involved now?
- If Danny had $10 million to buy a Rural Property, what sort of Property would you buy?
