Lamb supply slipped slightly to 20,300 drawn for. Quality varied with light lambs plain to good and heavy trade and export lambs were good to excellent. Not all the usual buyers were present and buyer participation was erratic throughout the sale as buyers stepped on and off the rail. Light store and trade lambs sold to $10 cheaper, medium trade $14 to $25 softer, heavy trade $10 to $20 back, throughout the sale secondary type lambs lacking finish were over $30/head cheaper in places. Heavy export lambs were in limited supply topping at $268 $15 to $30/head cheaper.

Store lambs back to the paddock unders 18kg selling from $38 to $126, and lambs to feed on over 18kg made from $120 to $148/head. Lambs to the trade to suit MK orders under 18kg sold from $78 to $124. Lambs to the trade 18-22kg, sold from $112 to $162, Lambs 22-24kg, sold from $136 to $177, Lambs 24-26kg made from $155 to $190/head. With average range from 630c to 680c/kg cwt. Export score 4 lambs over 26 to 30kg sold from $190 to $217, and over 30kg made $231 to $268/head. To average 690c to 720c/kg cwt.

Sheep numbers increased to 10,338 yarded, quality ranged from plain to good, not all buyers were active, in a softer market of $10 to $20/head across all categories and in places sales were $20 to $30 cheaper. Merino wethers selling from $45 to $94/head. Merino ewes sold from $10 to $90 and heavy crossbred mutton sold from $73 to $120/head.
