Lamb numbers dropped to 6,196 in a plainer yarding where quality and finished lambs were in very limited supply. Not all of the usual buying
group were present in a softer market to a week ago, however with some sales still reaching over 1,000c/kg cwt in places. Light trade lambs
sold to $5 cheaper, medium trade weights sold firm to $6 softer and heavy trade were back $5 to $10/head. Heavy export lambs were in
limited supply to be $10/head cheaper. The limited number of new season young lambs sold very well, selling from $178 to $294/head to
average around 980c to 1,000c/kg cwt.

Very light 1 and 2 score lambs to the processor to suit MK orders under 18kg cwt sold from $96 to $170, back $5 to $15/head. Lambs 18 to
22kg to the trade sold from $170 to $224, while the 22 to 24kg category made from $200 to $235/head with an average range of 940c to
970c/kg cwt. Lambs weighing 24 to 26kg sold from $240 to $276/head, to average 960c to 980c/kg cwt. Export 4 score lambs sold from $253
to $304 to average 980c and the over 30kg lambs sold from $318 to $320/head, to average 920c/kg cwt. Merino lambs were in limited
numbers and sold from $78 to $219/head to hold mostly firm.

Sheep supply was 5,934 in a mixed quality yarding where the buyers present were active and demand was again strong with light mutton
holding mostly firm and heavy mutton $5 to $10/head cheaper. Heavy Merino wethers made from $173 to $215 with an average range of
700c to 720c/kg cwt, while the lighter weights sold from $144 to $184/head. Heavy Merino ewes sold from $175 to $210/head to average
680c and heavy crossbred mutton made $178 to $253/head averaging 620c to 650c/kg cwt
