POSITION DESCRIPTION

TITLE OF POSITION:   Digital Livestock Marketing Agent

RESPONSIBLE TO:      Chief Executive Officer, Dwain Duxson

1. What is Farm Tender

Farm Tender is an online buying a selling marketplace for Farmers and Associated Agricultural Businesses. See the website here www.farmtender.com.au. Farm Tender is growing rapidly with associates being DelayPay, Farm Tender Auctions and PAC (Ag retail) Store. Farm Tender has over 46,000 members and is doing a complete rebuild of its Website and mobile App.

2. Primary objectives of the Role

• To help Farm Tender establish a Digital Livestock Exchange
• To help Farmers and Agents get the best sales result possible for their listing
• To help Farmers and Agents with their listing descriptions
• You will have input into a startup business model within the confines of an established business
• To onboard new listings and new customers
• To develop relationships with Feedlots, Processors and others that are part of the Livestock supply chain
• Marketing our new listing fees starting from $1 + GST per head for Sheep
• Marketing our new listing fees starting from $7 + GST per head for Cattle
• Marketing to our 46,000+ members and 9-11,000 unique visitors per day
• To join an online and digitally focused business that is growing rapidly
• A good follow up mentality and A1 Customer Service mindset
• Ability to communicate effectively with people at all levels

3. Conditions of Employment  

• Full-time position
• Work from home
• Standard Office Hours 8am - 5pm Monday to Friday (with some after hours work as required)
• Wage and incentives
• Good internet and mobile phone connectivity if a must
• All positions are subject to a probationary period of six (6) months
• Reporting and working with Farm Tender CEO, Dwain Duxson

4. Specific Requirements

• A very good understating of the Livestock industry and its functions
• Leadership and business development capabilities
• Contributing to the achievement of the goals and overall objectives of Farm Tender and it’s new Livestock model
