Fertiliser Price Transparency

In the last 12 months, at least 50% of my role as the Sales Manager for Prime Ag Centre (PAC) has been to keep my finger on the pulse with what the Fertiliser market is doing. Relatively new to the Fertiliser game, when I first started in the sales role, I was amazed at the daily calls I would get about what the current price of certain Fertiliser products were.

This is what prompted the start of the Weekly PAC Fertiliser update text. I wanted to provide our customers with a real-time update, something that included all of the information required in one SMS.

I hear the same thing on a regular basis that growers feel a lack of Transparency with Fertiliser prices. They receive a number of different Fertiliser updates but never with pricing attached.

With the Fertiliser prices at least doubling in the last 12 months, it is more important than ever to offer real-time pricing and provide regular updates on where the prices sit and where they are expected to go.
