Now it's free to sell Livestock on Farm Tender - We have made some changes to our pricing for our Livestock Category. See the new Livestock fees here

We have flipped the model on its head, done an about-turn, a complete 360. Instead of charging the seller when they sell, we are now charging the buyer when they buy. See an example of what it looks like here. At the top right of the listing, we outline what the buyer pays ex GST (which includes the buyer's fee), next down what the buyer pays inc GST, next down the seller's price (what they want), and at the bottom what the buyer's fee is.

We have made the fee's a dollar rate per head instead of a percentage. Why? Because it's simpler to work out. Some will like it, and others won't.

We now have 2 seller categories, one for "private sellers" and another for "registered agents". The buyer's fees for registered agents are lower than that for private sellers. Why? Because we won't be charging the selling agent a commission, but they will be charging the Farmer as per normal. Why are the buyer's fees dearer for Private sellers? Because they have no selling fees from us and/or an Agent.

Any current listings have been switched over to the new system, so you may want to adjust your price knowing there are no selling fees.

Happy to take your calls on this one, 0427 011 900, but if you study it, it should be pretty self-explanatory.
