Buying competition improved particularly for shorn lambs presenting with finish and weight.

Extra Heavy young lambs sold to stronger competition for the shorn portion. Shorn young lambs sold from $230 to $318/head. Shorn lambs over 30kg carcass weight averaged 905c/kg cwt. There was a mixed selection of young lambs suitable for restockers and lot feeders, with most orders from the local supply area.
