Just over 40,000 lambs were penned, and the quality was good, with a strong offering of heavy and extra-heavy weights. There was a solid run of well-finished trade weights, and secondary trades, as well as light lambs, were not oversupplied. Most of the usual buyers were active, resulting in higher trade prices, while heavy and extra-heavy lambs remained stable.
Restocking lambs sold for prices ranging from $131 to $188 per head, averaging 1,050 cents per kilogram. Several larger drafts of light Merinos sold between $97 and $158 per head, averaging 750 to 800 cents per kilogram. Trade lambs saw an increase of $8, with lambs weighing between 18 to 24 kilograms selling for $178 to $253 per head. Lambs in the 24 to 26-kilogram range were priced between $226 and $278 per head. Heavy weights up to 30 kilograms ranged from $248 to $308, while extra-heavy lambs over 30 kilograms sold for $283 to $375 per head. The majority of lambs sold for prices between 950 and 1,020 cents per kilogram.

Ewes weighing between 18 to 24 kilograms sold for $115 to $178 per head, while heavy crossbreds reached $296 per head, and Merino ewes topped at $270 per head. Most ewes were priced between 650 and 730 cents per kilogram.
