Is it the most important thing? - Has the Boomspray become the most important bit of Machinery on a Farm for those who grow Crops? I know they are readily traded on our Farm Tender website.
One Farmer, when he first bought a SP Sprayer for the first time, budgeted to do 400 hours for the year, and it turned out he did 850 hours and 1100 hours the year after that.

For Broadacre Cropping Farmers, Spraying might arguably be the most important job they do. Timing is everything when it comes to Spraying, and usually, the window is pretty tight. You could argue that Harvesting and Seeding are equally as important, but it's just one pass; Spraying could be 5 or 6 passes, maybe more.
And that is why you get the hours up these Machines, especially if there is a rust or some other disease outbreak or if you are desiccating things. Think about it like this: what would you contract out the least? You lose a little bit of control if you contract out the Harvest. Most wouldn't contract out the Seeding, but you would lose a lot of control if you had to contract out the Spraying. For you Cropping guys, is the Sprayer the most importing bit of kit you own?
