How did it go? - Our second-ever Farm Tender event, was another huge success. Around 180 people gathered at the impressive Glendemar Woolshed, and we probably couldn't have wished for a better day. For those who stayed late, the sunset was amazing.

What did I learn? It's a big job setting up a Woolshed for such an event. We were lucky we had plenty of helpers. Would I do it in a Woolshed again? Never say never, but the walk-in-walk-out situation that a conference centre provides is enticing.

Will we take it interstate after 2 x events in Victoria? We will look to go to either NSW or SA, but nothing is yet in concrete. If anyone has any ideas for a good venue that can hold a minimum of 200 let me know.

Our idea of having the Wool Bales as seats on stage, and we had a cricket ball that guests could fiddle with, which made them more comfortable. Also, something invaluable to me as the interviewer was the countdown clock. We ran pretty much to script. Thanks to all who helped out, thanks to all the speakers and thanks to those who attended. The networking that took place was another highlight. We now have a video of the event prices at $250 inc GST, which can be watched at your own leisure. Do you have any ideas for next year's event?
