Full coverage - Predicting the future is fraught with danger. But sometimes you have to have a crack at it, and it's also fun to do. If you don't want to say it out loud for fear of embarrassing yourself, you can think it and store it in the back of your brain and bring it out if you're right. Sorta like saying you tipped that Horse to win after the race.

So, in your educated opinion, what is going to be the biggest thing to happen in Ag over the next 10 years? There will be so many wide and varied opinions on this and you can send in your reply to dwaind@farmtender.com.au

For what it's worth, I reckon everyone in this country will have full mobile phone coverage within 5 years. And those poor-performing Mobile Towers will be yesterday's technology and not required. I think low-orbit phone towers in the sky (satellites) will replace them and give us what we have been yearning for for years.

I mean, what would full coverage do for Agriculture? It would be amazing. We will still be doing the same things today, like growing Wheat, Grazing Sheep, Cattle, etc, but we will be doing it so much better if we had full coverage. Sorry, I am a bit passionate about this one. Reply to dwaind@farmtender.com.au
