The start of 2020 hasn't changed an awful lot to the finish of 2021. If not anything, the Cattle market has continued to get stronger and stronger.

We have had some good Ewe sales in the last week. A line of 300 Crossbred Ewes made $280, and another line of 442 made $265. Other lines made good money as well.

Did you know that you can set notifications for certain Livestock listings of your choice, for example, Angus Steers? So If you have an order for a particular run of Cattle or Sheep, you can be notified by email or text when a new mob is listed that suits your specifications, and you won't miss out. Call me for help with the set up.

Last week I attended the Kempsey Stock & Land annual Steer and Bullock Sale trying to buy Livestock for FTLE clients. It was a bloody expensive sale. However.....

Every year the Sutherland Family donate their best Bullock for sale, with all the proceeds going to the cancer council, Kempsey Stock & Land then matches what the Bullock makes. The Farm Tender Livestock Exchange team were very humbled and honoured to purchase the Bullock for $4250, with all the proceeds going to a great cause. See the Bullock in the image above.
