We are pleased announce that Reid Stockfeeds have entered into an agreement with ourselves to acquire the business and assets of Five Star Stockfeeds.
As owners we believe the timing is right in terms of where we are in the cycle of life, and where the business needs to grow to meet future challenges.
We have enjoyed amazing support from staff and customers for a period of 25 years (Commencing in Gunbower and then in Camperdown) which has allowed the business to evolve into the entity you are all familiar with today. We thank you all for the part you have played in allowing us to develop the business to this point and wish you well in the future.
Reid Stockfeeds is a family owned business grown from similar backgrounds, values and attitudes to ourselves. We are sure these synergies will ensure our customers continue to enjoy the quality service which they are currently used to.
Reid's and Five Star will work together to ensure the transition is as smooth as possible and there will be minimum changes to how the business has operated in the past. The Reid Family have emphasised the fact that there will be no change to branding in the foreseeable future and all existing employees will be offered ongoing employment. As our valued customers you will see the same familiar faces, with the same commitment to service, product range and nutritional advice that you are accustomed to.
Both Five Star and Reid's have a similar focus on the importance of having a strong relationship with local businesses and clients. Any changes that may come will have a positive effect on what is being offered to customers.
We have formed many relationships over the years and trust these will continue.
