Every once in a while, something comes across your desk that you know you have to get fully behind and support.
As of today, Farm Tender will be fully endorsing the Farmer HAT program. We will encourage Farmers and Agricultural people to take the online assessment and find out where they are at with their health.
As Farmers, we make sure the Ute, the Tractor, the Truck, etc, are all serviced regularly, but when it comes to ourselves, it's not so regular. We want Farmers to improve their health and ensure that all Farmers have a long and happy Farming life.
I encourage you to take the simple online assessment as soon as possible. Please, send this out to your partner, kids, siblings, friends or anyone else involved in the Ag space. Click on the links below to find out more.

What is Farmer HAT?
Our online Farmer Health Assessment Tool (Farmer HAT) empowers Farmers to recognise that their most important asset on the Farm is themselves and encourages them to prioritise their health.
Through answering a series of questions, Farmer HAT provides insights into potential health, well-being and safety risks on the Farm and provides useful resources and information to help Farmers to take proactive steps towards a healthier Farming lifestyle.
Users of Farmer HAT are provided with an easy-to-understand report highlighting potential areas of concern and can use the online tool to monitor and track improvements to health, wellbeing, lifestyle behaviours and Farm safety practices over a period of time.
How does it work?
As an individual, you can save, download and print your results and complete the self-assessment on a regular basis to track, compare and benchmark your results over time. NCFH recommends the self-assessment be completed at least once a year to review the progress you've made on your health, well-being and safety risks
Simple, easy, and non-invasive:
- Farmer HAT is a free online tool
- Only takes 10-15 minutes to complete
- Great place to monitor and track your progress!
- Identify your own health, well-being and safety risks
- Access relevant resources
