The Fertiliser juggling game has already started, with some suppliers waitlisting bookings for Urea. There is very little MAP available out of most ports for new contracts, and it is highly recommended that if you have contracts for March/April, that product is home on Farm sooner rather than later to ensure the product is on the farm when you need it. For any new MAP requirements, the price is currently at $1070.00 per tonne. 

It is reasonable to say if you require Urea between now and the end of May to get things locked in, The current market for Urea is $760.00 per tonne. Where the price goes from here for June/July requirements is the burning question; we are sitting and waiting to see what happens over the next few weeks. 

SOA is becoming difficult to secure, with some suppliers not restocking until late April. Currently priced at $450.00 per tonne.
