Lamb numbers slipped to 3,300 with the last drafts of the old season lambs and new season lambs in limited supply starting to filter in, also with the two public holiday's later in the week, having major impact on numbers yarded. Quality ranged from plain to very good in places, more buyers were present in a mostly firm to $5/head dearer market across the yarding.

A few pens of new season lambs were yarded selling from $134 to $213/head to processors and from $93 to $173/head to restockers. Old lambs 18 to 22kg made from $135 to $168 gaining $2/head, lambs 22 to 24kg sold from $172 to $189 to be $5/head better, lambs 24 to 26kg made from $193 to $195 holding firm with a wide average range of 690c to 770c/kg cwt. Heavy export lambs were in limited supply with lambs 26 to 30kg making from $193 to $226 and over 30kg sold to $240/head with an average range of 700c to 750/kg cwt.

A very small yarding of mutton with 1,500 penned of mixed quality ranging from plain to good. A smaller field of buyers were on the rail and were selective when bidding. Merino wethers made from $113 to $166/head slipping $5/head. Merino ewes sold from $106 to $161/head selling $2 to $4/head cheaper and heavy crossbred mutton made from $131 to $165 to be $5 to $10/head back on last week’s levels.
