Don't despair: Are you young, and the only thing you know is that you want to work in Agriculture? You're currently doing something in the Ag space, but you aren't sure if it's what you want to do long-term.
I was like that. I thought I wanted to be a Farmer, and it took me 15 years of doing it to realise that I wanted to do something else. I still wanted to be in Ag but not be a Farmer. At the time, I probably thought those years were wasted, but when I look back, they were more than invaluable to what I am doing today.
So don't despair. As long as you're in the industry you love, you are on the right track, and you're constantly learning what and what not to do. It's like doing an apprenticeship. And guess what? That apprenticeship really never ends.
Your learnings along the way will be with you forever, and when and if you work out what you want to do, those learning will be invaluable. If you're closer to the end of your Ag journey, then please show this to someone you know who is more at the start of their Ag journey.
Good luck. We hope it puts things into perspective a little.
