Bad stats - Farms are dangerous places to work. We know that. As Farmers, you have to have your wits about you all of the time. And, like driving on the road, you have to be mindful of others around you.
We have recently seen stories about respected Farmers who have lost their lives in the last few weeks, and it's just an out-and-out tragedy. Even with modern Equipment and all the safety aspects, things can still go amiss.

Anyone who has worked on a Farm will have had a close call or two. I know I went through an old roof once and landed on my back an inch or two away from a steel post. Another time, I was knocking down bricks one by one atop a ladder when the whole wall fell back towards me. Luckily, I jumped clear.
