Description
Kenworth SAR 1976, in excellent condition for age. Very collectable truck, kept in shed when not in use. original interior, gearbox RTO 12515 ; Big cam 400 Cummins install. Compliance plated as an 8V71, a Silver 892 was in it when we purchased this in 1992; was previously owned by DeVito, operated as a road-train carting steel from Port Augusta.
Heavy duty hendrickson suspension, 44,000 lb diffs; clean chassis no rust. Drives incredibly well.
With only 5,000 km driving since roadworthy in 2016. This truck is in very good condition mechanically. Turntable removed to inspect, resealed chassis and painted, new front spring pins & bushes, new brake drums & pads, new rear mud gards, new mufflers. Tyres 85% Engine run on Dyno, injector and Valves tuned 06/06/19 by Cummins, Mount Gambier.
Matching 45 foot freighter trailer with livestock crate also available, high clearance sheep decks; 3 pens, slam shut gates, non bruise interior great for cattle. Crate is open top so is suitable for horses and is still currently in use behind current Kenworth. photos available on request.
