Land Available for Beekeeper Use – EOI for Beekeeping Licence (20ha, Rouse Hill NSW)

We are the landowner of approximately 20 hectares of vacant land in Rouse Hill (Blacktown Council, North-West Sydney) and are seeking an experienced, licensed beekeeper / primary producer to use part of the land for apiary operations under a formal licence agreement.

• Location: Rouse Hill, North-West Sydney (Blacktown LGA)
• Land Size: Approx. 20 hectares (vacant land)
• Current Use: Vacant rural land
• Permitted Use: Beekeeping and honey-related primary production only
• Licence Term: Initial 2–3 years (extension subject to agreement)
• Licence Fee: Peppercorn fee of $1 per annum – Licensee covers all operating and compliance costs
• Access: Vehicle access available; no existing structures (temporary structures by Licensee only)
Preferred Licensee
• Registered NSW beekeeper (with current apiary registration number)
• Experienced in commercial or semi-commercial beekeeping
• Able to supply and manage own hives and equipment
• Holds (or can obtain) Public Liability Insurance (and Workers Compensation if employing staff)
• Willing to manage weeds, pests and basic land care within the licensed area
• Must comply with NSW Biosecurity, Food Safety and Local Land Services requirements
What You Can Do on Site
• Place and manage beehives
• Produce honey, beeswax and related apiary products
• Light processing (e.g. filtering, basic packaging)
• Support pollination and environmental health
