Description
My name is David and I'm the director of a small, non for profit music and camping festival. We're looking for a new place to call home.
Our crowd ranges from 23-38 and are a lovely mix of music lovers. The goal of the event is to bring people together through music, movement and genuine human connection. We're looking for a property and landowner that we can form a strong relationship with for the foreseeable future, creating lasting memories and experiences for those who attend.
The event is STCA, so there would need to be some research done into each particular property to see if it's viable - for example, RCZ land is unable to host an event of this nature, but FZ can be achieved - as well as areas deemed culturally sensitive is something to keep in mind.
We're looking for a property that is 100+ acres, with a fair distance away from neighbours (unless they're also supportive of it of course). There needs to be space for camping, as well as areas for toilets and food / stages. We hope to involve the local community as well through a Community BBQ and other initiatives, raising money for local endeavors and as a way to show appreciation for us being in your community for the weekend.
We would ideally need to lease a portion of the property off you for one month to account for setup, event days and pack down, and are happy to organise any payment plan that works for both parties for the use of the land (a percentage of ticket sales or lump sum). We would like to be able to install some permanent infrastructure as well in the form of lighting poles and storage, but all to be discussed for those interested.
