Description
Shearer hydraulic harrows - originally 13 leaf, extended to 17 leaf, cutting approx 45 ft. Standard 5 row shearer leaves.
When extended and four new leaves added, the hinge joint was re-designed, as the original 'knuckle' joint was worn [and not the best design anyway!] The strengthened joint is in detail in one photo.
The harrow has been sitting unused for 6 years, and the tyres on the main frame would need replacing. From memory they are 6.95 * 14 tyres. Main use was making rows of crop material for burning, prior to stubble retention!
